Tech Speed: 124 MPH

The following are the minimum requirements for the Touring Division:

 C. Correctly installed factory seat belts in new or like-new condition, OEM or better, is the minimum standard (See: Personal Safety Equipment). Installation and use of a proper 5 or 6 point racing safety harness is highly recommended. If harnesses are installed, the mounting must conform to the Harness Mounting Requirements (See: Personal Safety Equipment), especially the shoulder harness mounting. This will be thoroughly checked at all Tech Inspections.

 D. Helmets & Safety Equipment: (See: Personal Safety Equipment.)

 E. A competition approved Roll Bar for an open vehicle is required unless the vehicle is equipped with “pop-up” roll bars, and recommended for all cars (See: Roll Bar Specifications).

 B. A Five or six-point safety harness system that includes three-inch (3") shoulder and lap belts.  (Exception: 2” shoulder harnesses designed for use with the HANS device or similar devices are permitted. FIA-certified 2” lap belts are also permitted.) The mounting of the harness must conform to the Restraint System Requirements, especially the shoulder harness mounting.
